Gauteng's Greatest Book Shop 2026
We're thrilled to share that The Book Keeper Shop has been named Greatest Book Shop in the 2026 702 Gauteng's Greatest awards, powered by Yoco.
Gauteng's Greatest celebrates the province's best independent businesses across 23 categories, and the winners are chosen by public vote. You nominated us, and then you voted for us — which is what makes this one mean so much to a personal, independent shop.
To everyone who nominated, voted, shared the link with friends, or simply came in to browse the shelves and chat about books: thank you. We'll keep doing what earned this — hand-picked shelves, help finding the book you're after, and service in English and Afrikaans.
Come and celebrate with us at the shop in the In-Shere Lifestyle Centre, Shere, Pretoria, or browse what's new online.
